the contractors.
CORRECTIVE
ACTION RESPONSE:
EMS recommends proven dust control
solutions and follow-up to ensure completion.
DUST
CONTROL MANUAL: EMS provides
site-specific procedures, regulations, contacts,
forms and resources to help compliance management.
DAQEM
NEGOTIATION:
EMS will reduce regulatory impact
by resolving compliance issues between industry
and County.
COMMUNICATION:
We have consistent procedures for resolving
non-compliance issues.
DUST
MONITOR Identifies
a problem and coordinates corrective
actions. If problems are not corrected
immediately by workers at the site
of the problem, the EMS Dust Monitor
elevates the issue to higher levels
of responsibility until problem is
corrected.
CONTRACTOR
Dust
Monitor specifies required corrections
to contqractor operators. If the corrective
action is not taken immediately, EMS
Dust Monitor calls the highest contractor
representative on site.
SITE
SUPERVISOR
If contractors do not correct the
problrem voluntarily, Dust Monitor
contracts Owner's on-site Superintendent.
EMS
MANANGEMENT
Resolves problem if not corrected by
on-site staff. Responds to CAOs.
CLIENT
MANAGER
EMS reports major and continuing compliance
issues to client manager.
